CliC AVIATOR Magnetic Closure Sunglasses
The CliC Aviator is a throwback to the classic handsome Aviator style-- yet incorporating CliC's ultra modern front-connection technology and integrated head/neck band for convenience and security. The Aviator is CliC's first all wire-front sunglass frame with adjustable nose pads and larger rectangular neodymium magnet.
Two versions are available: the regular size Aviator with adjustable sides is available in chrome front/silver nylon rear headband; the XXL Expandable version comes in polished gunmetal front/ gunmetal gray expandable rear headband for extra width if needed.
How to choose? If color (silver vs gunmetal) is important to you, then both frames will probably fit most men. If you are one of the men who really need the extra room of the XXL/Expandable frame then your choice is simple, get the XXL/Expandable. If you do not need the Expandable back then our advice is not to get it--- it's a complication that adds a little bit of complexity to the headband. In our experience the regular non-expandable headband is slightly more durable due to its simplicity.
Lenses on both styles are mirrored and polarized with 100% UVA/UVB protection; the regular size silver Aviator is a 55mm lens and the larger gunmetal Aviator is a 58 mm lens.
Both Aviators include a microfiber cloth bag that can be used to both clean the lenses and store the sunglasses.
Like all CliCs, this frame uses CliC's patented neodymium front magnetic closure and integrated rear head/neck band. When you need the glasses, you raise them up and they "CliC" together with a strong magnetic closure. The headband keeps them secure on your head with no risk of falling off. When you do not need them, simply open the front and lower to your neck. The rear band now keeps them hanging conveniently around your neck so they're ready when you need them... with no chance you're going to lose them somewhere.
