(We charge $5 extra for the "fashion colors" -- including regular size black---- because the manufacturer only sells them in a random assortment, and this makes it more difficult and expensive for us to stock and sell these colors, while still providing your choice of any lens strength, and your choice of clear or sunreader lens.)
Custom color Long readers can be ordered by selecting frame color option "Custom Long" and then during the check-out process, there are places for you to write a note, and enter the color you wish us to make Long for you at that time as a note during check-out. We will take the longer metal arms off a Black Long and transfer them to the frame color of your choice.
Why CliC? These readers are different! CliC readers have a unique and patented neodymium magnet front connection system, connected to an adjustable form-fitting headband.
To put on the CliC readers, simply place the band around the head, and the magnetic connection will guide the lenses closed.
To remove, simply separate the eye pieces and allow the CliC readers to hang around the neck...finally, reading glasses that are hard to misplace! You won't lose them (or sit on them!). The built-in headband keeps them secure, without the need for "granny chains" or ropes.
The optical quality lenses can be replaced with prescription lenses.
The sides of the CliC readers are adjustable shorter or longer to comfortably fit most people.
SUN READERS are perfect when you�re by the pool, in the park, or anywhere you are in the sun. The tinted dark gray lenses have 100% UV protection.
The manufacturer varies metal arm color between gold and silver, where the glasses can be adjusted for length. Usually it's silver, but occasionally we have some gold tone metal arms. If this is important to you please make a note during checkout and we can check current availability for you.
The regular readers measure 140mm wide and have an adjustable length of 200-220mm. "LONG" frames have slightly longer metal side arms, and will expand from 215-235mm in length (this makes them a little more flexible for big heads, or people who like to wear the reader further down the nose).
